Pad Computers
Welcome to Pad Computers. There is a new breed of Personal Computers on the horizon, characterized by the working surface being all screen, without a conventional keyboard or mouse, but rather the keyboard will be visually represented, or as an alternate input – the input will be via voice and touch. They will be called by several different names, but with the successful introduction of the iPad computer by Apple, we expect that pad computers will be proper nomenclature.
Pad Computers is all about these new pad computers, with pad computer videos, pad computer articles, and everyday conversation about the slate / tablet / pad computers. While pad computers are mostly used by consumers, they have also been taken up by business users. Some companies are adopting iPads in their business offices by distributing or making available the iPads to employees. The pad computers have have several uses in the classroom and have been praised as a valuable tool for homeschooling. Many colleges and universities have also used the iPad. The most familiar pad computer – the iPad, is able to support many music creation applications in addition to the iTunes music playback software.
